baby shower on saturday!

my cousin... Daniel, but the family calls him D... got his not g/f pregnant, so 'm gonna have a new cousin soon!

i love babies...

my aunt calls her the baby-mama which i think is incredibly disrespectful because she's a normal girl and NOT a potential springer guest.. and plus, my aunt (and the rest of us) actually likes her so i dunno where the nickname came from...

whatever, it's not MY grandchild and i'm NOT going to have to deal with her on a regular basis...

not that i would mind, she's sweet...

anyways, i went to Babies'R'Us and kinda went nuts... everything in there is sooo cute!

i almost bought them a crib... i had to remind myself that it wouldn't be appropriate... especially since i am not directly related to her (like her parents/sister), not directly related to the father (I'm not D's sister either), and i'm not the baby's godmother...

still...

i did however put together a goodie basket for them... and spent waaaaay too much anyways, BUT SHE NEEDS IT ALL

that's what i'm telling myself...

no, really, it's all useful and functional... i don't believe in buying things just for decoration or simply because they are cute...

there's just a lot of it...

on an unrelated note, i finally got a texting plan for my phone... so i can talk to people now...
